ABSTRAK

Penelitian bibliometrik ini mengukur kinerja penelitian, yaitu dengan menghitung dan menganalisis tingkat dan rerata kolaborasi pada jurnal Indonesian Journal of Chemistry 2007-2011. Penghitungan menggunakan rumus  Subramanyam untuk menghitung tingkat kolaborasi. Dari hasil penghitungan didapatkan, sebagian besar artikel IJC dihasilkan melalui kolaborasi, dengan tingkat kolaborasi sebesar 0,82, dan rerata kolaborasi 3,05 penulis per artikel. Dari tahun 2007 – 2011 terlihat adanya kecenderungan peningkatan, baik angka kolaborasi maupun rerata kolaborasi.  IJC ternyata sangat diminati penulis  institusi lain, karena UGM hanya berkontibusi sebesar 21,35%. Institusi dari dalam negeri berjumlah 75 institusi atau sebesar 59,06%, sedangkan dari luar negeri sejumlah 52 institusi atau sebesar 40,94%.

 ABSTRACT

 This bibliometric research attempts to measure collaboration rates by using subramanyam formula and also the average of collaboration from Indonesian Journal of Chemistry 2007-2011. The result of this research shows that most of the article is produced through collaboration, with the collaboration’s rate is 0,82, and the average collaboration is 3,05 authors per article.  Both measures tended to increase from year 2007 – 2011. The contribution of author from Gadjah Mada University is only 21,35%, means that IJC is in high demand from other institutions.  Foreign institutions are 40,94%, whereas domestic institutions are 59,06%.

Impact Factor : Penghitungan dan Kontroversinya (Impact Factor: The calculation and Its Controversy). Oleh: Maryono

Abstrak

Citation is commonly conducted in the activity of writing. As a form of scientific communication, citation is needed so much, so that the author or researcher’s idea can be developed by other authors and researchers, and so does on the contrary. In the application of statistic to investigate citation, it appears the term to mention the size of influence of an article or a journal that is impact factor. This writing exposures the counting of impact factor and investigates its controversy by using the standard reference of The Criteria of International Journal fixed by Dikti.

Bung Hatta, Proklamator, Ilmuwan, Penulis dan Karya-karyanya: Sebuah Analisis Bio-bibliometrik. Oleh: Maryono

ABSTRAK

Bung Hatta adalah pejuang proklamator kemerdekaan, wakil presiden RI pertama. Beliau juga seorang ilmuwan dan penulis yang sangat produktif, dengan karyanya di berbagai bidang studi. Karya-karya beliau membahas permasalahan ekonomi, koperasi, politik, hukum, filsafat, agama, dan lain-lain.  Dari jumlah total karya beliau sebanyak 163 judul,  69 judul ada di Hatta Corner atau hanya 42%, tidak termasuk terjemahan dan karya yang mungkin masih akan diterbitkan. Data bibliografi karya beliau sebagian besar justeru didapatkan dari katalog online berbagai institusi yaitu OCLC Worlcat 46 judul, Bibliografi oleh yayasan Idayu 26 judul, NLA 8 judul, Hathitrust 5 judul, Perpustakaan nasional RI 4 judul, JSTOR 4 judul, dan Bibliotheek Arnhem 1 judul. Terdapat 8 judul buku karya Bung Hatta telah diterjemahkan ke berbagai bahasa, diantaranya naskah pembelaan Bung Hatta sewaktu berada di dalam penjara dan akan menghadapi pengadilan Den Haag, Maret 1928, berjudul “Indonesie Vrij!”. Masa paling produktif beliau adalah pada dasawarsa tahun 1951-1960, usia 49-58 tahun, dengan jumlah karya 47 judul. Kontribusi terbesar beliau adalah dalam bidang hak asasi manusia, politik dan ekonomi kerakyatan. Karya-karya beliau menjadi pedoman penyelenggaraan pemerintahan Republik Indonesia.

ABSTRACT

Bung Hatta is the proclaimer of independence, first vice president of the Republic of Indonesia. He was also a scientist and a very prolific writer, with his work in various fields of study.  His works discusses the economic issues, cooperation, politics, law, philosophy, religion, and others. Of the total number of his works as many as 163 titles, 69 titles in Hatta Corner or only 42%, not including translations and works that may still be issued.  Bibliographic data of his works precisely largely obtained from the online catalog of the various institutions that is OCLC Worldcat 46 titles, Bibliography by the foundation Idayu 26 titles, NLA 8 titles, Hathitrust 5 titles, the national Library of RI 4 titles, JSTOR 4 titles, and Bibliotheek Arnhem 1 title.  There are 8 titles of Bung Hatta’s works have been translated into various languages, including Bung Hatta defense manuscript while he was in jail and will face the Hague tribunal, in March 1928, entitled “Indonesie Vrij!”. His most productive period was in the decade of 1951-1960, aged 49-58, with the amount of work of 47 titles. His greatest contribution was in the field of human rights, political and social economy. His works became guide for the governance of the Republic of Indonesia.

Kajian Kepustakawanan Dalam Jurnal Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal) 2010- 2012: Pendekatan Bibliometrik. Oleh: Maryono

Abstrak

 

Library Philosophy and Practice merupakan e-journal di bidang kepustakawanan yang banyak mempublikasikan kajian kepustakawanan dari berbagai  negara Afrika dan Asia. Kajian kepustakawanan di dalamnya sangat menarik untuk dianalisis, sehingga diperoleh berbagai pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap perkembangan ilmu kepustakawanan. Pada tahun 2010-2012 kontributor berasal dari Asia 42,14%;  Afrika 49,45%; Amerika 7,42%, Eropa 0,87%. Negara paling produktif Nigeria  47,27%, India 23,03%, Pakistan 9,28%, USA  7,10%, Iran 4,15%, Bangladesh 2,18%, dan Malaysia 1,97%.  Kajian tentang keterpakaian perpustakaan (use studies), pemakai perpustakaan (user studies), serta literasi informasi (information literacy)  paling banyak dikaji, yaitu sejumlah 118 artikel, 22,69%.  Disusul penggunaan informasi (information usage) dan sosiologi informasi (sociology of information), penyebaran informasi (information dissemination), serta bibliometrik sejumlah 99 artikel, 19,00%. Sedangkan subyek permasalahan fisik bangunan  perpustakaan hanya terdapat 1 artikel, 0,19%. Sebagian besar penelitian yang dipublikasikan di jurnal LPP disusun secara berkolaborasi, derajad kolaborasi selama 2010-2012 adalah 0,5585. Kolaborasi yang terjadi pada kurun waktu tersebut adalah domestik 95,86%, antar pustakawan dalam satu negara. Kolaborasi antar negara hanya 4,14%.

Abstract

Library Philosophy and Practice is an e-journal in the field of librarianship which publishes many studies of librarianship from various countries of Africa and Asia. Research on librarianship in it is very interesting to be analyzed, in order to obtain a wide range of knowledge and understanding of the development of ibrarianship.  In the years 2010-2012 the contributors came from Asia 42.14%; Africa 49.45%; American 7.42%, 0.87% European. The most productive countries Nigeria 47.27%, 23.03% India, Pakistan 9.28%, USA 7.10%, 4.15% Iran, Bangladesh 2.18%, and Malaysia 1.97%.  Studies on library use, library users and information literacy are the most studied, the total  of 118 articles, 22.69%.  Followed by the use of information, information sociology, dissemination of information, and bibliometric , the total of 99 articles, 19.00%. But, there is only one article, 0.19% which studied physical problems of library building. Most of the studies published in the journal LPPM arranged in collaboration, the degree of collaboration for 2010-2012 is 0.5585. Collaboration happens at this period is 95.86% domestic, inter-librarian in a single country.  Collaboration between countries is only 4.14%.
