Kajian Kepustakawanan Dalam Jurnal Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal) 2010- 2012: Pendekatan Bibliometrik. Oleh: Maryono

Abstrak

 

Library Philosophy and Practice merupakan e-journal di bidang kepustakawanan yang banyak mempublikasikan kajian kepustakawanan dari berbagai  negara Afrika dan Asia. Kajian kepustakawanan di dalamnya sangat menarik untuk dianalisis, sehingga diperoleh berbagai pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap perkembangan ilmu kepustakawanan. Pada tahun 2010-2012 kontributor berasal dari Asia 42,14%;  Afrika 49,45%; Amerika 7,42%, Eropa 0,87%. Negara paling produktif Nigeria  47,27%, India 23,03%, Pakistan 9,28%, USA  7,10%, Iran 4,15%, Bangladesh 2,18%, dan Malaysia 1,97%.  Kajian tentang keterpakaian perpustakaan (use studies), pemakai perpustakaan (user studies), serta literasi informasi (information literacy)  paling banyak dikaji, yaitu sejumlah 118 artikel, 22,69%.  Disusul penggunaan informasi (information usage) dan sosiologi informasi (sociology of information), penyebaran informasi (information dissemination), serta bibliometrik sejumlah 99 artikel, 19,00%. Sedangkan subyek permasalahan fisik bangunan  perpustakaan hanya terdapat 1 artikel, 0,19%. Sebagian besar penelitian yang dipublikasikan di jurnal LPP disusun secara berkolaborasi, derajad kolaborasi selama 2010-2012 adalah 0,5585. Kolaborasi yang terjadi pada kurun waktu tersebut adalah domestik 95,86%, antar pustakawan dalam satu negara. Kolaborasi antar negara hanya 4,14%.

Abstract

Library Philosophy and Practice is an e-journal in the field of librarianship which publishes many studies of librarianship from various countries of Africa and Asia. Research on librarianship in it is very interesting to be analyzed, in order to obtain a wide range of knowledge and understanding of the development of ibrarianship.  In the years 2010-2012 the contributors came from Asia 42.14%; Africa 49.45%; American 7.42%, 0.87% European. The most productive countries Nigeria 47.27%, 23.03% India, Pakistan 9.28%, USA 7.10%, 4.15% Iran, Bangladesh 2.18%, and Malaysia 1.97%.  Studies on library use, library users and information literacy are the most studied, the total  of 118 articles, 22.69%.  Followed by the use of information, information sociology, dissemination of information, and bibliometric , the total of 99 articles, 19.00%. But, there is only one article, 0.19% which studied physical problems of library building. Most of the studies published in the journal LPPM arranged in collaboration, the degree of collaboration for 2010-2012 is 0.5585. Collaboration happens at this period is 95.86% domestic, inter-librarian in a single country.  Collaboration between countries is only 4.14%.
